getting ready for fall 2006

We are all so ready for some much deserved cooler weather around here. No...we haven't done our traditional fall decoration scene but boy am I ready. After this weekend, we should have most of the supplies needed to complete it. We don't go all out and decorate the entire yard...just a scene. And the boys are quiet content with that. We do have some awesome neighbors around here that do their entire yard. Fall is just an awesome time of year around here!

So, until we get our decorations complete...enjoy last years.

Hello and TGIF!!!! Just thought a need to post a photo of my two little 'school' boys. This was taken by in February 2007 and we were at a local park. They were in such a great mood that day and we truly had a great time! Now that the weather's nice again...maybe we can go back soon!

It's nice to see that 1 or 2 of you are reading this and leaving me a comment. I LOVE the comments. Also, to comment on your comments...maybe soon I'll get from behind the camera and post some of me. Truth is, I LOVE my CAMERA. It was my christmas gift, new mom gift, etc. etc last December. I got some great zoom lens back for Mother's day, anniversary, and birthday. Yeah, they were that much but truely worth it for the Baseball pictures! Enough about my camera, if you want to know more about it, maybe I'll post a day on it sometime. I still have to get some pictures that I promised of the middle child. You'll be so surprised!

momma's little boy

Yes...we get lots of time together alone these days. Daddy's at work and older brothers are at school. He's trying to tell me how much he loves me and how much he loves having his picture made. Of the 3, he's the one that doesn't tell me "NO" when I get my camera out and start snapping. Oh how much fun we're gonna have trying to take a family photo next month.



Mommy...I found my toes again if I could just pick them up! I just love snapping away while he's just being his own curious self. Did I mention tomorrow he will be 9 months? Oh how the time flies.


Okay...I think I will just leave them there. It's much easier this way. He was trying to talk to me while I was taking these pictures. It was soo much fun. He's probably going to be more of a talker than either of his older brothers...it will be fun to wait and see if I'm right.

disney world

Disney World....what a fun place to go for kids and adults alike. We took a vacation there last fall and had the time of our life. Even if I was 8 months (32 weeks) pregnant. What a BRAVE man my husband was and still is. While we were there last October, Florida was setting record highs the first few days we were there and then record lows the last 2 nights we were there. It was such a nice, fall like feeling in the air at the end of our trip.

I can honestly say we were dreading the trip as it got closer to us leaving. BUT, by the time we were packing up to leave, we did NOT want to come home. Yes, my husband was having a great time with two preschoolers and pregnant mom managing his way around the most magical place on earth! We have some great memories as well as awesome pictures of our trip.


DAY 1...Meeting Mickey Mouse!! We started day 1 at MGM studios because that was an 'early' day (meaning we could enter that park that day an hour early). This is if you stay inside Disney. Which we did...in our camper at Camp Wilderness...the best place we have camped so far!


DAY 1 again...Nothing like going to "infinity and beyond" with Buzz lightyear. I think I looked pretty good at 32 weeks...it was a hot day but I'm still okay!


DAY 1 yet again...Mama...we love this place...do we ever have to go home? We are riding the train here around Magic Kingdom. We only spent half a day at MGM as there is not a lot there for little ones. So the afternoon we went over to Magic Kingdom and closed down the park that day. Oh yes, we did take a nap early afternoon. A MUST for little kids and pregnant mom's alike (and even dad...who NEVER takes a nap)! Please note Conner took a bad fall on his scooter a few days before we left to go to Disney so he had this scab on (and under) his nose from the healing process. Every time the Disney picture people took our picture, they would ask us if we wanted to wipe his nose as they thought it looked like something else. Poor child.

aquarium

Not a lot to say tonight. Just wanted to show you some pictures I captured back in February 2007. I thought I did a pretty good job capturing these jelly fish. It's another busy week around our home....T-Ball, school, bible study, Wednesday night church, more T-ball, and the gym for momma! Here's to a great week!

Back To School

Okay, okay....I think I have more than 1 that come here maybe once a week to check us out!! So--- I'm going to continue to post pictures regularly on here. Please post me a comment or email me every once in a while to let me know you're still looking! I LOVE the comments and it's great to know you enjoy looking at my pictures...even if most are of my children!

This picture was taken on our first day back to school of 2007. They both were excited and ready to go as well as a little nervous to get settled down in their respective classes. All went well that day and every day since...both seem to have taken after their momma and enjoy school for the most part. Daddy said he hated school...especially as a little boy. Speaking of momma liking school,I can remember my first day of Kindergarten. Don't ask me why but I remember the dress I wore and my hair was in pigtails. Maybe one day I'll drag up some old photos of me when I was younger! Until then, you'll have to look at the recent ones! Have a great weekend and may your favorite football team win!

"Aunt" Mary Ellen, this is totally for you. We know how much you love the Cleveland Cavs. I think he is pretty excited in this photo about them too....or the photographer is being too silly! I know you have already seen these photos but I wanted you to enjoy them again. And by the way, we miss you and all the boys in your life!!! Please tell us soon how school is going? Hopefully we will get to come see you before the kids are grown!

Oh, can he be a poster child for the Cavs??? Like maybe in a commercial? Hook us up!

my 3 babies

I didn't know what to post today. So I looked back and decided to post some pictures of all 3 boys around the same age. Before we moved here, I faithfully took the boys to the same photographer to get their pictures made. I now use a photographer in my hometown and don't buy the proofs. So my youngest boy's picture was taken by me. His is first and was taken when he was 2 months old. It was hard to get a social smile out of him. The next picture is my oldest and the last is my middle child's. The last two were taken by a professional when they were 3 months old and social smiles came more freely and often. I also apologize for the red mark my youngest son had at the center of his forehead...it was rubbed by a snap off his onesie that day! Hope you all have a great day!

camping

We LOVE to go camping. I don't know what it is about being outdoors... but our family enjoys it. The boys get to ride their bikes, spend time with their daddy, fish, etc. These pictures were taken earlier in the summer(more like late spring) at one of our favorite lakes. 3 of my 4 favorite guys were in it...just missing my baby.




The boys were watching several geese after feeding them some bread.





Here dad is holding a 'catch' made by our oldest. Too bad he won't hold the fish himself.

bathtime

WOW!! I know....2 posts in 1 day....even in 1 hour!! I just had to add these cute pictures taken a few nights back. All of my children have always loved bathtime and I love capturing these moments to cherish forever. Is anyone looking at these or reading my site??? homemade

I honestly thought I would have lots more time to update my website and to add pictures to share with the 1 or 2 of you that even came over and read my posts. I'm sorry that I haven't taken the time to do so. Hopefully I will try to add 2-3 posts per week and with new pictures each time. I LOVE taking pictures with my new camera...I just don't take the time to get them developed!

These flowers are called Zinnia's. They are actually of the giant variety. I took these pictures because I thought they turned out beautiful! The week after school started I began attending a ladies Bible study at church. We had an assignment to bring in a homemade item last Tuesday. I love to cook and had well intended to bring in some homemade goodies to eat. But...I forgot about the assignment until about 10 PM the night before. Way too late to cook and I am not a morning person. So, I sat there in the bed going through some of Matthew's 2 month photo session that I took of him. Larry asked what I was doing and I told him I was going to take some of the 5X5 Proofs in to share because I took them therefore they were homemade. He thought that was a silly homemade item. So I thought about it that night and the next morning I robbed some of my Zinnia's to take. I grew these from tiny seeds so they are in fact homemade by me. I did end up taking my photos too and the ladies loved both. I stopped by on my way out and gave this bouquet to Conner's teacher from last year. She LOVED them as she loves flowers as much as ME!
