Happy FIRST Birthday to my little man! We spent his actual birthday with just our family at Chuck E Cheese's. I think his older brothers enjoyed it the most...Afterward, we came home to open his gift from us...he was so excited.

Meet our elf SNAPPY

Good morning...My how Christmas is sneaking right up on us. We requested to host one of Santa's elves a little over a week ago. He delivered and sent us his special assistant elf "Snappy" on Tuesday because he had worked so hard for Santa this year. Snappy is on vacation with us until Christmas Eve when he must return to the North Pole to get ready for next year. He's watching the boys to make sure they are being nice and at night when we are asleep, Snappy gets into things. Sometimes its great and sometimes...well...let's just say he's a little naughty. Point being last night...Snappy got a little carried away at his host home and decided to toilet paper our living room! Look what the boys found around 7 AM this morning...They had the biggest laugh and then willingly helped us clean up his mess.

Happy Birthday to my oldest son on December 7(he's in the middle...pictured with his brother to his right and a friend to his left). It's amazing to me that 6 years have already passed since we welcomed you into our lives. You have brought us so much joy...even on the days you are strong willed :).

Good Afternoon! I have pretty much convinced myself that no one checks this site unless I send out an email telling everyone that I have updated. This time of year...well any time of the year...is so busy around this house that I don't get a chance to update as often as I would like! So for the past few days I have been updating just and not telling anyone just to see if anyone will comment me on here or by personal email.

Back to this picture...let's just say that we spent about an hour Saturday morning before Andrew's birthday party taking pictures of the 3 boys. This one did not make the cut but its just a teaser or what we had to deal with to get a decent picture! I chose to post it here in black and white but we kept with the color for our cards. I don't want to ruin the entire Christmas card surprise for you! What do you think? Should this have made the cut? After I receive my cards I will share what picture we chose!

What a GREAT weekend it has been watching football! I love this time of year and it seems like this season is passing way to quickly! Just wanted to share a photo of Andrew and the pumpkin he 'picked' while on a class field trip several weeks ago. Larry actually asked me tonight when I was going to put up another picture? It tickles me that he is actually 'checking up on us!' LOL...I love it and him too of course :)

Happy November 1st!

Wow...I'm sort of glad October is over. There were soo many birthday parties, halloween parties, field trips, festivals, carnivals, ballgames to watch, etc, etc, etc.... it's going to be nice to stay home and 'be lazy' this weekend!

Please enjoy our pictures from yesterday. The boys 'filled up' their trick or treat spiderman baskets. We stopped by a friends afterward and had a great time visiting, eating snacks, and drinking punch.

Okay...for all of you that have asked to see a picture of me. Here is me with my little pumpkin and our neighbor with her little lady bug. They are soo cute to see these 2 together. I would love for this to be his future girlfriend in about 25 years!!! Great family. (this yard is not either of ours...)


End of night photo...and we finished up around 8:30 so it was a late night for all! This is my friend that has 3 boys...all of our boys are around the same age and play great together. She left me this year and went back to work. But we get them together all that we can. After starting down our street w/ our neighbor's grandson...we found these boys and finished up! All in all a good time was had by all and noone wanted to get up this morning...except for Daddy. Sorry about the quality of this nighttime picture...I'm still learning to use my camera!

Hunting down at papa's

Not a lot of time to post a message but I did want to share some pictures of a couple of weeks back... (Note: if you don't see 4 pictures in this post you may need to refresh and I appologize as they seemed to be large uploads...that's what I get w/ my new camera...great shots but HUGE files!)



Of course Matthew did NOT go hunting. This was taken a few days later at our neighborhood play group at a local park. It's actually his first time in a swing...yes, he LOVED it!

Conner's Field Trip

Wow...the past couple of weeks have been crazy crazy crazy! Just put it like this, I have been busy. The boys have been spending a couple of days with their grandparents so we could have some R&R. We have definitely enjoyed sleeping in but haven't done much relaxing! Yesterday was spent painting our kitchen. This has needed to be done since we moved in as the builders would only use "flat" paint. You know what that means with children!!! Yuck is all I can say. We painted it "sprout" which is a Sherman Williams paint color if you want to take a peek! I absolutely LOVE it and now ready to paint another room! But Not NOW.

Back on the 12th I helped chaperone Conner's field trip. It was to a fire station and they had a 'surprise' stop to a pumpkin patch on the way back to school. The kids had a ball and behaved rather nicely I might add. Here is a picture of my boy with his buddy Timmy.

Matthew did rather well too. He was such a great baby, especially since he missed his morning nap. My how I miss him and his brothers looking at these pictures! Well, I'm off to watch a movie with my hubby...have a great weekend!

long overdue

Greetings!!! I know this is long overdue. No excuses except we have been busy busy busy with school, T-ball, helping set up/baking for upcoming carnival, field trips, neighborhood meetings, birthday parties...oh, and a game of Bunco last Tuesday! I cannot believe October is almost halfway over. Oh how I wish we were on our way to Disney as we were preparing for a year ago. But on to life as we know it!


This is the first picture I tried to take yesterday in front of our fall decorations out front. We actually set this out from the house about 2 weeks ago and I decided a week later we should move it closer to the house. I really didn't think it looked as great as it did last year since we decided to use pine straw instead of wheat straw. Hubby wasn't very excited...indecisive woman!


My baby decided early on that the orange pumpkin was more appeasing to look at than crazy mama with a camera.

Here he is getting very fussy....almost wanting to cry. I think he was thinking "mommy please let me look at that pumpkin" as this picture was still snapped in the first 3-4 pictures!

Oh...and my oldest here couldn't be still. He kept changing positions. He's like his dad in the way that he can't be still.

Yet another position for my oldest. Here he is counting the # of pictures. I told him let me take 10 more and then they could have 15 M&M's. Isn't it really sad that I have to BRIBE my children with candy to "Please let me take a FEW more so I can get a GOOD one!"????? By the way he is saying it is #7 after we/he had starting the countdown. I probably ended up snapping about 30+ photos altogether.

Matthew is looking down so I said, "Hey...why don't ya'll all look down like Matthew?" Did it work???


My sweet boys....they are truly Mama's boys....and I LOVE that!


I know all the pictures are starting to look alike at this point! This is the last one I snapped. By this point, my neighbors were laughing because I had resorted to holding up a piece of the straw from the scarecrow to try to get them to all look in the same direction at the same time. She came over to help and I am very thankful for that.


And last...My FAVORITE. Which one is your favorite and why??? Happy Fall and thankful for the cooler weather! Maybe next time I try to take pictures of all 3 of them together I will wait until 'daddy' is home.
