Football team pictures

Early Saturday we had team football pictures...8:30 AM. Talk about getting started early! But the good thing about it was we had the rest of the day (well...after the soccer game-another story) to get ready for the BIG GAME! Yes GA-AL. I was informed by my Favorite brother in law that my husband's mom had disowned him for the weekend because he had this black shirt on Saturday. To give him credit, he changed before the game that night...and...his...team...won.

S-O-C-C-E-R

Yes, in addition to Andrew playing football, Conner is playing in his first team sport...Soccer. He is enjoying it and we are learning alot...even daddy who has never played the sport(one of very Few he hasn't). You can tell by the picture above he is one proud boy!

He played goalie the second half and protected the goal nicely. No score by the other team! Here he is returning the ball to play...our coach lets them kick it or throw it over head.

Fall for FOOTBALL

I'm not sure of the them for this Favorite Foto Friday but I know what I want to use....Football pictures! We just started having games this week and its so much fun to see the practice paying off. It's his first year playing football, and yes, it's flag football. He takes it very seriously. Just look at the expressions on his face!

Wordless Wednesday

We Miss you PawPaw! Happy Birthday MeeMee!!!

First on the order we want to wish our Mee Mee a very Happy Birthday. Sorry we cannot be there but I'm sure everyone is taking great care of you.

On a much sader note, we lost our beloved PawPaw a couple of weeks ago on the morning of August 19th. He had recently received the news that he had lung cancer that had already spread to lymph nodes in the chest area. We were not ready to say goodbye but God had much greater plans for him in heaven...where he is cured and able to breath so much better. Matthew and I spent extra time with MeeMee after the funeral so again I have neglected updating this site.

This picture was taken back late winter/ early spring 2008. MeeMee and PawPaw had come to visit us and we decided to take them to visit the zoo. We had a great time I only wished I would have taken more pictures that day.

PawPaw we miss you!!! MeeMee we love you and hope you come to see us in a couple of weeks...

Back to school...

We started back to school on Monday, August 11. Is it that time already? My how our summer flew by. I was definitely not ready for my boys to go back to school. I am now a proud mama of a First grader and a kindergartner. Thankfully I still have my 19 month old at home with me to give me something to do during the day!

I'm glad it's Friday and we have made it through our first week. So far so good but its sure to get busy real soon here. One will be playing soccer and the other football this fall.

Lost...a top front tooth.

This morning, I had to take a picture of Andrew with is new gap. My BIG boy lost his 3rd tooth last night. Oh, the reminders that he is 'growing up.' I can barely stand it...
